Inactive staff, bad conditions, staff quitting. What is/are your opinion(s)?

Is MCSG going downhill?

MCSG is not going downhill, we are still very active.
Inactive Staff:
Staff have lives and this is the time of school, so the staff have to focus on that rather than MCSG.
Bad conditions:
True there are loads of bugs in the game, but these are expected. There will always be bugs, we just have to put up with it. Programming isn't easy. 1.4 was just released, so we hope that it fixed most of the bugs and didn't bring in much bugs.
We are still getting lots new players daily.
Staff quitting:
The same reason with inactive staff. We have lives to live. School/work takes our free time. And with that spare time, we try to give it to moderating MCSG.

I agree with MiCr2 mods have lives and so do (most) MCSG players. Just another point to add they are currently getting in new staff to help fill in the gaps here and there.Mods who remain active in times like this are very dedicated people and we don't like it when people slate off about inactive staff. MCSG has a lot more life left in it and hopefully with 1.4 we will see a much better gaming experience regarding the bugs.

it is going downhill. Like everything it gets unpopular after a while, So I decided to move to TIMV and resign as moderator here

I wouldn't say it is going downhill, but more that it is driving along a very hilly road. It fluctuates from time to time, lie many things that happened to explode in popularity. of course it will never be able to hold onto the huge numbers of players it had early in the year that caused every server to fill immediately, but it will always have a strong enough following to stay strong.

i think it's going downhill, sg4 was vareides worst map, smallest structures, people yelling hackers on everyone everywhere, LOTS of people getting banned for hacking for no reason, new voting system that completely make no other map than sg4....

Nah we are fine. Just got to get through the 1.4 bump and fire some more help. Just that we are 7 months old doesn't mean we are going downhill. Lot's of stuff is in the pipeline, just you don't know about it just yet.
Yep many staff members have and will say that MCSG has life left in it still and we will keep helping the servers for as long as people keep playing. MCSG will last, yes some people leave but more keep coming.
