Why Hate New SolarFrost!?

Personally, I feel like the corn did make the map less enjoyable PvP wise than the last one. The different corn levels is just weird, and like others mentioned, Flint and Steel is barely possible unless used in the outer areas of corn. The new tier 2's are good, and I like how they managed to keep the routes mostly the same, but it's the corn that just pisses me off. I still think that Solar Frost is among the best maps out there though.

And as for the random lava pools, I do admit, they piss me off, as I fell in one the first time I played the new map, but all you have to do is memorize them, and you'll be fine!

Overall, it's the corn that really infuriates people, as they expected a corn the level of the previous Solar Frost, which had an absolutely phenomenal corn for PvP.

I wasn't really a fan of solar frost, I do find it enjoyable enough. But I have experienced the sprint glitches, and the inability to flint and steel teams is a bummer

While I do admit that the snow slabs are annoying and bad, and the lava pits are obnoxious, this map finally got some damn tier twos. Another thing I don't like though, is that they blocked off the overhead route. This was my favorite route and I went there every game. But, tier twos in my opinion balance the new version of Solar Frost. I do like the corn, and I always get good stuff from it, and I dont know why people hate it. A tip against teams, or more geared players, is to run into the stone room with the button, and set them on fire there. There is no water for their aid and you can kill them. I killed Nate252 with this strategy just a few hours ago.

Well... There is no water anywhere on the map.

I LOVE it, I have a good strat for teams by using the bridges as choke points, I have no problems with this map.

I Don't know why people seem to hate this map. I agree that the new corn is slightly worse than the previous one, but it does not ruin the map. If anything the slabs in spawn make it better since it can break Sprint and stop people from running. Plus flint and steel can still be used in the bottom of the spawn. And the lava pits make the game more fun.

1. Corn = Terrible
2. Can't run on half slabs
3. It doesn't have the same feel as the old one, and I loved the old one :/
