We will be trying to fix the mojang bugs as well. We run on a custom server with gives us more power to troubleshoot game issues. This update season is like any other update, things will be buggy and will only improve from here!

Yeah, unfortunately sprinting seems to be server-side in 1.6 now due to the way the new Entity Properties system works :(
As for the FPS drops, are you on a laptop or other machine with dual graphics cards (one for power saving, one for gaming)? If so, your machine is probably using the power-saving card, due to a bug in Mojang's 1.6 launcher. Look somewhere for an option to disable automated switching and always use the dedicated card.

English: our servers are technically still 1.5.2, but they are only able to be connected to by 1.6.1 clients. You can't get genuine 1.6.1 CraftBukkit until they update for 1.6.1, and once they do, we'll follow suit within a few hours.
You sir are a genius.

Like fan, or heater, you are an air conditioner.
Just cause we aren't all devs, doesn't mean we are dumb :p :D

Chad, I would just like to say that I feel that, instead of straining on fixing the bugs as Mojang are, safe both you and your community all this drama by downgrading to 1.5.2 as many people are now anti-update due to heavy lag, plus, with the new launcher, those who don't lag can still play 1.5.2. This has been done on the Hive and it works very well, so I feel that you should follow this example and keep the servers at 1.5.2 for the next week or so. :)

Acezmadnezz1, we had updates in the past where we told people to say on the older version. That was a nightmare because everyone updated pretty much and teaching people to downgrade was impossible. Mojang has pushed a few updates already and we only assume fixes will come out in a matter of days.

ChadTheDJ Is it true that MCSG has their own server side program? As far as I knew You use spigot but people told me otherwise.
