Just to clear something up, in this mini-rage post:

When you bounty someone, it means you want them dead. That is the purpose of setting bounties.

With that in mind, stop thanking people who put bounties on you. Did Han Solo THANK Jabba the Hutt for putting a bounty on HIM? No! It got him frozen in carbonite which is what Jabba intended.

We're not giving you a gift if there are other players who can beat you (and I check first), WE WANT YOU FREAKIN' DEAD! GONE! Tossed out the bloody airlock in a million pieces! Got that? GOOD!

Thank you for your time,

Alger

I like having a bounty on my head, it gives me an incentive to win and makes the game more exciting. I do personally thank people that bounty me.

Bounty in MCSG is not comparable to a real life bounty, because you are going to get killed or captured. This is a video game, where fighting and killing is fun and the point if the game.

The incentive is for other people to kill you.

You can keep the bounty in MCSG and if you were killed by the person you are bountying that means that they must have pretty good gear so to them it's like you're giving them free points because their chances of winning are quite high

I love bounties. It makes me try harder to win. I thank people for bounties. :)

Dude, stop raging and just get over it.
The message behind a bounty is a broadcast to all players: "Kill him for the points!"

And yes, I know that if the person bountied wins, they get the points. That's why I said in my original post I always check first to make sure there's a chance that that person can be killed.

That's uncalled for.
What's uncalled for? I wasn't targeting RC specifically. :/

Just play the game and ignore everything else. Simple.
