Opinions on new forum design.

What I want to see:

• Status updates on the right-hand sidebar.
• Right-hand sidebar 50ish pixels smaller.
• Alerts being able to be seen by hovering hover the alerts at the top.
• A darker version.

Other than that, I like it. Just needs some getting use to.

And that CloudFlare Ddoss protection, I mean I know its good, but it can take minutes to load pages.

I also think the information for each player next to their post is too small, I would like it bolder.

OH and if you look at the top bar, the upgrade button is so Orange and an eyesore, I know they want you to see it to donate, but they should tone that down a little bit, especially for those who already donated.

I agree, but more like 100 pixels smaller, and I hope everything gets moved more to the sides of the page. There's an entire inch of wasted space on both sides of the screen.

It's not minutes for me, but the DDoS protection is getting annoying. Before, it would only pop up when you went online, but now I can just click my alerts and it will be there.

EXACTLY

I do like the new overall design of the forums, but there are some things I dislike about them. I do like the new color scheme of the forums. However, there are some design aspects that I am not too fond of. These things are only cosmetic and should be an easy adjustment to make.

Banners
The old forums design had banners for each individual rank. These banners had a gradient effect and brought some color and individuality. An example of these banners can be found here.

Recent Status Boxes
On the old forums home page the most recent status updates were displayed in a box known as the "recent status box". This made it more easy for active forum members to see what others are up to!

New Alerts Layout
The new alerts and conversation layout is inconvenient. It combines alerts and inbox notifications into one number that is presented to you. This is not a major problem, but it is just one small thing I noticed.

I just wanted to end this post in saying, I do not dislike the forums update as a whole. There are just some things that I believe could be improved on to make the forums a more fun place.

Right hand status bar is fine for me. If you are on a laptop, or anything with a smaller screen I could see it being a problem though.

My screen is a 15.6 inch and the posts only take up a third of the screen. That's why I want the sidebar to be shortened. If not, than at least a "Show/Hide" button would be nice.
