Hey guys, Silently here and i haven't done this opinion threads in like 2-ish months. I'd like to state my opinion on this before i get into the story like usual. First of all, many of us 14 year olds sometimes rush to get a job or gain some money for nice items such as the louis Vuitton belts, True Religion jeans/jean jacket, hollister sweats, Abercrombie vests, Those legend blue 11s or those new bred 11s coming out or just new releases like infrared 6s (yes im a sneaker head) anyways let me stop ranting off topic, but many children are like that but somtimes we have to look ahead of that and think of our parents, how they work so hard to give each and everyone of you or your siblings the chance to have a great life from even buying you guys diamond or platinum donor on this amazing community to giving you a hug. I work for 3 hours I just began yesterday at mcdonalds (startingbout simple) in order to help my mom i gain $14.50 an hour. My main goal since my mom is a single mother who all my life has done everything to make me happy so Im gonna repay her and give her $200 for the rent. It may be a little but its my goals to be a better son.

On to the story:

I have a friend who dropped out of 9th grade high school just to go work in order to go smoke or drink. Now im not gonna judge anyone for what they do but time management is the key to everything. Managing time allows you to be less stressed and more organized. Well this is just some advice to you guys, help out your parents they have done alot to give you and your siblings the best life experience.

Thanks for listening.

Well said, You have my respect. I really respect the fact that you are taking the time to make this thread. What I respect even more is you helping your mom pay the rent, it really goes a long way to show how much you care. I'm glad to see people like you are out there trying to make a difference. I wish you good luck, one day you'll look back at what you've done to help your mother and you'll feel proud.

Now, I have no problem with it, but I personally believe that 14-15 year old people should not go for jobs. Instead, they should focus on their school work.

True, but there comes the fact that responsibility comes in. Knowing how to manage your time.

I completely agree with you here!

I think in this day and age most children take life for granted. I know for a fact my parents work hard, all for us children to be happy. Have a good life and education. It is a shock that some kids are taking that life for granted and not caring about education. My school has a fee of around $7,000 AU dollars. Yeah, it's lengthy but as my family is tight on money. We pay it off as a fee for each term. The fact that my parents are willing to spend that much money on giving me the best possible education that I could have it amazing. To think most children don't even say a simple 'thanks' to their parents is a harsh thought.

Having a part-time job is crucial too, I am trying to find a job at the moment and am failing, not only myself but I feel like I am failing my parents aswell, all I want to do is pay them back as a way of saying thanks. I know they are in a tight money situation as my father has lost work and my mother is paid after she finishes a loan etc. I just want to help them out.

In conclusion, I think we take our life for granted. We tend to ignore the fact that in some countries, your mother could quite possible turn to prostitution just to keep the family afloat. Let's wake up guys!
