I started working when I had just turned 14 and it was honestly a great learning experience. I'm really glad that I made the decision to start working at the time. I wanted to help my parents with finances and what not. It was incredibly important to me that I help them as much as I could. I actually had that job for near to 5 years. :] Which I am extremely proud of, considering I started at such a young age.

I began to work a year ago, when I was 14. It was really nice to earn some money, I bought a great PC of it and I'll use this PC for many other years. I am also going to work this summer, I think that I'm going to safe my money for later, when I'm going to life on my own.

At a restaurant in my town :)
I'm 17, turing 18 in a month. Ive never worked before, but i'm going to take a gap year this year so i'm trying to look for a job. However idk where, like I don't want to work in a restaurant (serving people, that makes me nervous) and i don't want to work at a grocery store. ;-;

There are many more options, organizing clothes at stores, tutoring little kids,babysitting

Working is one of the best things you will hate doing. I started working when I was 16, and had consistent work since. Working for my entrepreneurial parents, I had a wide variety of tasks, and thus developed a wide variety of skills that I use to this day. I never really liked to work, but I liked what working taught me.

Starting yourself early by working before you're technically an adult prepares you for the adult world, which is a major leg-up in life. The pay is nice too (but it's never enough. Trust me), but the real reward is in the skills and experiences you build. And it is those skills and experiences that will put you in an adult career that will pay enough.
