It might be a little unfair, but it's an option available to anyone. SG isn't really a 100% fair gamemode anyway, there are a lot of non-skill related variables that can provide advantages and disadvantages.

Sometimes I just wish I could accept the fact that MCSG isn't the most fair gamemode. When I die to a team, I always start off like "Aw man, that sucks", but then I'm like "NO, THEY'RE THE ONES WHO SUCK, LEARN TO PLAY, BAD, NOOB GET GOOD!!!!" And it just goes off from there.

Teaming, though not always fair, is an aspect of the game I don't want to see remove. Clans, friends, and random people all come together and have fun by teaming. If there was a solution to the problem, it'd be worth it; however, at the moment I think it should remain as it is now. If anyone has ideas, I'm up for listening to them, though :)

Indeed. You do have a point, that teaming is how friendships are made, but even when I play with my friends, we truce and don't team (yes, the difference is the fact that you don't stick by each other and fight the same person.) And we don't 2v1 a person at DM.

But you have a point, teaming is a way to just have fun with your friends and really just play for fun.
I also Agree with you on that, I mean at first, I did want to team all the way in the end in order for me to fight them and see which one of my friends and I were the strongest players. However, I do like the idea of trucing, but truces are hard to stick to when other players are teaming too, which causes a massive annoyance, and we end up back to square one. Teaming will never go away, but we can try our best to redefine how we team, not just to win, but to have fun, and stop making it impossible for newcomers who don't even know what a chest route is.

If the solo players don't want to die from teams, maybe they should team up themselves.
...or learn to take them down

Considering MCSG is based off from the book/movie series Hunger Games where you had a teammate, and even people you allied with, yes teaming is fair. Those who decide to go solo decided to, just like to those who decided to team.

The Survival Games is about doing whatever you can within the extent of the rules to win the game. It's not about being fair, it's about being competitive yet fun and intriguing at the same time. I personally find teams annoying, but it's all part of the game. Gotta take em down.

It's not a real issue, at least at the moment.

Although I have to admit, game after game of 5 even 6 teams, it gets irritating.

The thing that really bothers/annoys me is when you are fighting someone before dm and they are low and then in dm they say to the other person "[yourname] is hacking team" when they know you aren't hacking they just don't want to die ;-;

I don't see how its unfair.. Complaining about people teaming up all the time, makes you look like a sissy...

Also most of the people in teams, are actually the ones who die first..
Going solo is fun.

I do think that teams to a certain extent are unfair for people who would really like to play solo but like others have said, it's a part of the game that can't really be removed. I know for me personally if teaming was not allowed, I'd never play.

However, I would love to see separate servers for this type of thing. One server that is the exact same as the current MCSG gametype and an "extreme" MCSG gametype that makes teaming much more difficult (no sharing of loot, compasses, experience gained when killing people, and maybe even a rule that teaming is not allowed).
