Apparently building a PC is better so I recommend that especially because the PC that you're making isn't like incredibly OP.

Nope, it wont. The amount of GB of the card effects the FPS just on heavy games, certainly not MC and CS.

Your motherboard shouldn't be just some "RANDOM MOTHERBOARD". :O

If you aren't too experienced with parts, I'd recommend you watch a ton of videos about them to learn, or (as a last resort) by a pre-built PC from your preferred website.

Well, I upgraded from a GT640 1GB to a GTX660 3GB and my FPS went from 80-120 to 200-900, to add on to that, I have a friend with comparable specs to me, but a 760 2GB, and I have a steady lead on him FPS wise. Obviously there may be other things that change that, but we both have the same main components.

Well, there're many factors that can effect the FPS such as dust, luck of the cpu (since minecraft is a CPU game based it really does make a difference) or cable management. However, the Vram of a gpu doesn't effect games like Minecraft, trust me xD.

Honestly the amount of people that pretend to know stuff about pc's pains me.

Go look at subreddits and other forums like Tom's Hardware and /r/pcmasterrace or /r/buildapc and you will get your ass handed to you with facts.

Can someone tell me why my posts were deleted? They contained literally 0 offensive or flame inciting text whatsoever. The only point of my post was to clear the common misconception on MCG threads that i7's are worth it.
