It's nice to see Holiday getting a revamp, but I really can't see what you can do to it while still keeping the resort feel. Changing too much, you will lost the theme. Changing too little, it won't get accepted. Good luck, though.

Before we started working on this revamp, I was thinking about what we could improve on the map, while also keeping the holiday feels to it. Not only before, but we also kept thinking about it while building the map and I am convinced that we have changed enough, while not changing it up to much. Ofcourse there are people who dont like change and there are people who would like more change. But I can assure you, that we as a team felt like we changed the map in a way to keep all parties happy; those who like the original, and those who like to see a ton of improvements. And I personally think that it still holds that holiday theme, which was one of the most important aspects of building this map for me.

I think this revamp is a more tropical BOOM effect compared to the original.
I mean, it's not a competition and i see what you are getting at, and maybe the "exotic" feel to it is the part your not keen on. Thanks for your feedback though!

I have actually thought about this, but we are really bussy with "rewire-ing" helix atm. And since we had some technical difficulties with the alvarian testgames, we would like to have everything back organized before we start hosting test games again. But there will be testgames for H3 (Helix 3) for sure! So keep an eye out if you're interested!
