IP bans aren't possible... Last time they IP banned someone the whole US server got banned

Are you saying the devs here are not capable to put the server in maintenance mode for a few hours and find a way to ip ban, when servers with much smaller communities scripted by 12 year olds can?

If a hacker get banned and then he changes and want to play fair?? And he is banned by his IP??? what then???

They already do perm ban for first offense hacking.

Therefore, is he wanted to change his way, he would have to buy an alt, and break more rules.

Keep in mind BlueStyledGamer, that the moderators are not paid to do this job. It is a volunteer position and is not a full time job. We give what time we have spare to moderate, and so catching every hacker in every game is impossible. We would have to hire hundreds, if not thousands of more mods to watch every player in every game, which would mean lowering the standard for acceptance into the staff, which would cause more problems than it solves...
You're right it isn't your job to clean the network of the hackers and rule-breakers, but a significant portion of the people who get banned are from player reported cases. You also seem to imply that we're here to catch hackers, and not have any fun, which we are. The staff play on this network just as much as most other players and we also put in extra time to keep the network clean.
We understand that you are here to play, and play to win, but the numbers of hackers you run into isn't entirely up to us. No doubt you will run into hackers, sometimes more often than not and that's a problem that every gamer everywhere has to face, and it's simply something we can't get rid of 100%. It's also very difficult for us to code anti-hack systems, because MCGamer is a mod of an already existing game, we don't have any control over Minecraft vanilla systems and is something we have always struggled to work with. There are a lot of limitations when it comes to that.
If you come across a hacker, you have multiple options:
Record them and submit a report abuse
Contact a staff member on the teamspeak to come deal with it
If none are available, type /report and a staff member will follow it up when they can
Or, if you are truly passionate about ridding the network of rule-breakers, apply to join the staff yourself!

I'm not going to lie when I say a lot of the staff members aren't working as hard as they could, not to point figures but I can use croe as an example. If you're a staff member you shouldn't have time to be able to moderate and hold a #1 spot on the leader board. Unless he doesn't have school or a job I feel mods like this aren't doing their part. Then again, who knows these days.

Staff members are trying their very best in order to decrease the number of hackers on the MC GAMER NETWORK. With the support of every player, We can create a hacker-less community. We just need to work together as one unit.

IP bans should be possible now (though to be honest it was hilarious when someone nonchalantly IP banned the proxy). They just don't do it because it doesn't really solve anything.

People who use modded clients really don't care about their stats or if they can't play on a particular account, so they'll do anything to ban evade and continue disrupting the game.

Every thing you said is true, but like others have said, the staff can't do EVERYTHING, they need or help to make MCGamer a better place, it's up to us to help the mods find the rulebreakers. I hate teams, too, but it's something we have to take on.

Ok my first prediction was right, now the mods are gonna defend the servers with dumb arguments. And at the end this thread will just get locked.
