Survival Games Leagues

I have often wondered how to make survival games more fair. Currently it is difficult to become better at SG and win a lot of games. This is due to many experienced players already knowing good chest routes. Therefore I am proposing a way to make the games more fair: SG leagues!(just read before commenting)

Many of you may think that these leagues should be based on wins or points as they are in many other games. However I think that I have found a better idea.

These leagues would be organized by win%, or wins to games ratio. This would ensure that the best players would only be playing against other players of approximate skill level. The newest players with the fewest wins would all be against each other as well. Also if you had for example 300 wins but 3000 games played, you would not be in the highest league as you do not win that often. Likewise, if you are very good but don't play a lot, (ex 20 wins and 30 games played) you would still be with the other top players. The leagues would be something like the following: (x/y x=wins y=games played)

Diamond: 1/5 wins or better

Platinum : 1/5 wins to 1/10 wins

Gold: 1/10 wins to 1/25 wins

Silver: 1/25 wins to 1/100 wins

Bronze: under 1/100 wins


These are just my ideas but I think that they would improve the playing experience. Maybe there could also be an unranked SG who's results do not effect your league. Thanks,

İllegal do you have a solution to people who win?I need a solution. Because they're good players not only fake, no levels!If you find a solution. It may be a good job.

This is a great idea! First off, name suggestion: LEGACY GAMES.

Not only would it let players have good fights. It would stop people with bad stats raging due to tryhards "out of their league." It would boost the popularity of stat reset tokens. And the bonus? Mega hackers or boosters wouldn't win so much, because as they would improve their stats, more good players would appear to put a stop to it.

But I have two suggestions if this were to be added:

1) It should be its own gametype. It's a lot of fun to play with players of all levels of skill, especially because it creates a dynamic level of skill needed to win. I wouldn't want that to go away.

Teaming would be pretty difficult in this situation, because if you sank down to Gold, your teammate would either need to come down too, or you would have to work hard to get back up on your own. So I think keeping normal SG would be the best of both worlds.

2) It should have its own stats. Players stuck with bad ratios from SG would have a chance to be seen for their skill, and there would be a ratio-based leaderboards (cool!).

But I think this should be a toggle feature. Perhaps you could change a setting to use your SG ratio (you won't have to work for it), and then you'd have your LG stats as well. This would allow people stuck with bad ratios to start anew, yet make sure the good players wouldn't look down on having to work for stats yet again.

In my opinion, this would be really popular as long as it wasn't thrown at us as an update to SG. I'd definitely play it, as it would rid the Survival Games of some pretty big problems. Maybe it can replace Hungry Games? xD

I really like your suggestions these together would make a great new gamemode! the name Legacy Games also fits.

on the legacy i had: 1/4 and now i have better than 1/3.

Unless this became a new SG gamemode, such as Ranked SG or the Legacy Games. The current survival games could be renamed Unranked SG maybe?

No because on the old SG you still will be playing to rank up and get wins on your stats. So its not unranked...

I like it. It's rather like matchmaking in CoD. However, there are downsides. People could boost deaths to get into easier lobbies for wins. This is a nice idea, But it would have to work perfectly for it to work at all. However, I do want this to be implemented into the game. Seeing as i'm really bad at PvP I'd love to play against other bad players. This would be really good.

Kind of like getting into lower weight classes in wrestling. But if this were to have its own leaderboard, it could be based off of ratio rather than overall wins. As long as the record only counted players with at least 10 games, it would work, as long as the fractions such as 40 out of 100 would be placed over ratios of 4 out of 10. I'm probably overlooking something, but I think it would work quite well to sort out boosting.

Of course, you could try to get a 10:10, but the game would be incredibly difficult from all the good players in the game.

A 40/100 ratio of wins to games would work out to 1/2.5 ratio. That would place you in the highest ranking. Besides, if people boosted deaths to get into lower divisions, they would always win and quickly be promoted to the higher divisions.
