hi guys as you may know I rolled up on the forums a couple of days ago after playing mcsg for a few years prior.
Today I decided to go on a hackerhunt - track down and record some cheats and report them with evidence on YouTube.
I managed to find 3 hackers (way less than normal unfortunately) all of which were most certainly modding in at least one way.
I submitted two videos of 1v1 Pvp fights involving the hacker which both (one especially ) clearly showed the hackers at work.
I could not quite however provide clear enough evidence to the moderators to have action taken - one of them will be watched by staff.
My problem:
I knew all three were hacking because of the way they were moving and fighting but I couldn't get the right camera evidence.
Do you normally spectate the player in 1st person or watch the fight like I did?
Please give your view :p
Thanks and may your day be mighty
H
PS : also is it better to show your personal view of getting killed by the hacker or their view of killing other people?
Sorry for all the questions I want to get this right!

Hey there!

When submitting report abuses and they are declined for "Insufficient Evidence," read this and utilize these tips in your next report abuse!

  • If Yes:
    • This means that either the video/picture that you included in the report does not include conclusive evidence that we are able to use in order to punish the alleged rule breaker with.
      • Tips on How to Get Sufficient Evidence:
        • If it is a Video [Hacker], record the person in third person (spectator mode). This makes things a lot easier for the staff to see the user legitimately hacking. Also, try to get at least 15 seconds worth of video showing the alleged hacker, hacking. If it is a picture, screenshot your entire Minecraft screen. If it is not full screen, we cannot accept it as valid evidence; therefore the report will then be closed. Also, make sure to upload the image to IMGUR so that there is a lesser chance of the picture being deleted by the company's service provider.
