If I had to pick five (aside from Chad himself) I'd set my list up to include the following
Col_StaR - Col has won the respect and attention of practically everybody who is active within the community. A model of maturity to most, Col will leave quite the legacy here.
Blamph - This guy practically invented the successful YouTube hiatus. Oh, and did practically everything else possible like topping the leaderboards, having a large YouTube, being well known on the forums for post quality, having practically every ingame rank from Diamond Donor to Mod to VIP to Friend to Quantum Donor.
Huahwi - Let's face it, not all of us may be head over heels for him, but he is pretty much the Henry Ford of the nowadays typical player's PvP style
BajanCanadian - Again, not necessarily a fan favorite but left a legacy of baccas for all of us to experience. Not only that but almost anybody who actively played MCSG before March 2013 was a Bajan fan to some degree.
Dave - Dave was one of the longest serving administrators and did a lot of work for the community that would have been significantly less effective, or even possible, without him. I don't know many people here currently or who have since left that don't know Dave to some degree.

Honestly, I think there were more influential members than what can be represented in a top 5 list. Col_Star, Blamph, Gravey4rd, G33ke, Huahwi, Lovelights, BajanCanadian, TheArenaMaster and many more. Different people and groups of people influenced McGamer differently; for example, Vareide and Teweran brought us tons of maps, but rarely interacted with the community like the others did, which is why they are frequently overlooked.

Anyone not putting Vareide is dumb. There literally wouldn't have been SG without him.

*edit: He kinda just ditched the Minecraft scene in general so I have mixed opinions about him.
