Demon's Breeze: Revamp or Remove.

I really enjoy Demon´s Breeze, it´s kind of a different game then a game on Par 72 or SG4 for example. If you´re getting bad FPS on the map i recommend you to not play it.

I think a revamp of Demon's Breeze would be awesome. But then again we do have Breeze Island and Freeze Island even though Freeze Island got removed. Use optifine to lower the lag.

I'll make a new lava islands map that is 100% better quality. I have been inspired. Cya in like 4 hours as a map like this is ez pz. (probably more like a week, but ya know)

I agree with you, but my FPS is good.

My laptop can't run on servers without lag. I've used optifine since 1.4.

The map is good, and I understand you may have FPS problems, but there are others (majority) in the community who like it.

Lava? New experience.
Holes in bridge? Use them to your advantage.
Fall in lava? Parkour
Get shot off? Play defensively

People may like it, but by no means is Demon's Breeze a good map.

For one, it is a complete rip off of a map that was made by a different person.

It consists of mediocre builds/ripped off builds.

It lacks general theme and consistency. The only thing consistent about it is the lava.

If that map was submitted today, it would never be accepted.

You are allowed to like Demon's Breeze, heck, even I enjoy playing it at times. However, there is a difference between a likable map and a good map. Demon's Breeze is not a good map.

I don't feel the need to buy a better PC just to play a block game, especially since other games run fine. Besides, I know many players who have more lag than me, and Demon's Breeze just becomes a pain.

I have to agree with what SuperxAndrew has said. The map can be fun to chokepoint on, but with the horrible deathmatch, uninteresting builds, and annoying holes, I just don't find myself having a good time on this map.

This is so true, and it could be said about SG 1, 2, 3, and countless others that nobody likes and yet they are still here.

That is the thing Map Staff needs to do.
They need to go through each map and ask themselves, "Would this be accepted today?"

If the answer is no, then remove the map. If the answer is yes, then keep the map.

It would be a nice way to "clean out" a map list that desperately needs to be cleaned out, and it would make room for newer better maps in the future.

However, my only flaw with this is I think it is important to keep the classic maps. I guess there is just a lot of gray area with the whole idea.

One thing is for certain, there are too many maps, a lot of which are mediocre and unpleasant per today's standards.

I only have the spawn problem, about the other points, I think is the funny thing about the map
