What are the advantages and disadvantages of being too nice to people?

I recently reliazed that being too nice is not always an advantage.
People been saying that "Being nice is a form of weakness"!

Something I tell people almost everyday is: "It doesn't cost you anything to be nice."

Some people may react negatively to selfless acts of kindness, however their opinion ultimately is worth nothing. Don't let others stop you from being yourself.

You can be taken advantage of, you can come off as irritating. You can't see the issue with anything, a major flaw.

However it can pay off. You'll make friends if you're nice.

I agree with this statement 100%. Us Mod's receive lots of disrespect reports, and where does that get you? Either banned or muted.

I've never seen a report of someone being too nice; I don't think being mean gets you anywhere. cc: BedIntruder

being nice is never wrong, but you should know when to say "No". If you don't, people might take advantage of you.
