Wow... This has been an amazing journey. These past 14 months have been absolutely incredible. Through all of the ups and downs, we managed to win 58/72 clan battles. All 69 members (yes, there were 69 members in this clan excluding myself) helped us with that. Not bad, not bad. I do not want to look into it, but I am pretty sure that Vortex is in the top 5/10 clans for total clan battle wins, longest lasting, most thread replies, and many more. I feel the need to talk about the creation and each version of this clan. Here we go...
Creation: On July 4th, 2014, I woke up to a Skype call early in the morning. It was Billy, Slav, and Mello. The 4 founders of Vortex. We spent the ENTIRE day on making the thread to look nice. We also stalked the forums more than ever waiting for applications. Long story short, our skype call lasted for 13 hours.
Vortex v1: We started off great. We won our first few clan battles with ease. We swept all of those battles. We had good players like

Xenos along with our founders.
BacccaPlays later joined our clan after we battled his previous clan. Then, a problem occurred with Slav and some of our members, so Slav left. We denied
Baldwinnick0319 and
Feller a couple times but they just kept coming back. They were hella chill so we just let them in. Members came and went, most notably
TasmanianGamer ,
Tiggy ,
Floats ,
_Oso_ , and
Togggg . Our first wave of Officers were Tas, Booby, Stvn, and Baccca. We later promoted Baccca to leader and Tiggy to Officer. Besides Mello, Baccca was our best leader of all versions of Vortex. This version was by far my favorite because everyone was extremely close and it was a family.
Vortex v2: I call this one the Trostetic merge version. In my opinion, this was our best version of Vortex. The old vortex members got better chemistry together while also adding some good players like
MightyPurps ,
CaliSwag ,
Alkalize , and
Vok . We also added
DayDream and
ThernzIsABaller after denying them before. We saw them as the "Baldwin and Feller" of the clan. We beat some good clans during this version, most notably our 5-2 win against Destiny. Destiny was led by
Jccandfriends and was the #1 clan at that time. Although we weren't as close and we didn't last as long, we still managed to win a lot of battles during this time. This was our best and most competitive version.
Vortex v3: This version is the Serti Squad invasion. Brian wanted us to reband because he was getting tired of CS:GO. He really wanted to battle Rebels because he never got the chance to. It was hard to get people to commit to joining, so I asked
SertifiedBlocks if he wanted to join. I told him that I would give him Officer if he got people to join. Well he got people to join, but they were all inactive af. The clan was a disaster for a couple of weeks and I contemplated disbanding it multiple times. After Serti Squad left, we got new people to join like

Dead_Silence987 . It was really nice to get to know new chill people like them. We only lasted a couple of months this version, but it was a more laid back clan. Not that active or competitive, but we would all talk to each other daily.
This clan and the 69 members will always be in my heart and I won't forget about the amazing moments that we all shared together. From the clan battles, scrims, Rap Battles, Open Mic Nights, CS:GO, Online Card Games, Movie Nights (with the fam & Jawsh), and everything else. This is my favorite clan by far and (probably) always will be. This clan won't be brought back anytime soon however due to the lack of MC enjoyment from our members.
