This is pretty much why I was able to do so well on US Kohi despite being an AU player with a 250ms connection. It's just a little bit outside of what I like to call the 'golden latency zone', where you're not so laggy that the game loses its fluidity, but laggy enough to reap the rewards of client misplacement and delayed communication between your client and the server. Usually ranges from 150ms-200ms.

I know were you coming from, but that is wrong. With 100ms you will take less KB than someone with 10ms.
The reason why is because with 10ms everything happens almost instantly, with 100ms it takes a longer time for hits to register. The reason why is because, when you hit someone the KB does not happen in simultaneous, the kb happens a couple ms after the hit.

Incase you want the math:
10ms = 0.01 seconds
100ms = 0.1 second
That isn't math
And
The kb is DELAYED not REDUCED

Worse ping makes misplacement easier since you it makes your knockback delayed which will increase reach for the amount of time the player has the delayed KB the misconception of worse ping makes you take more KB is simply because the KB is in different increments while you don't take much in the start of the exchange you take more KB after the period while you take less KB you begin to take lots more at the end of the exchange that is why rod is more affective on players with good ping than worse ping since there KB is delayed and they are usually able to get that 1 hit since there KB from the rod took longer than the registration of the hit its self.

100ms is not better than 10ms when you're fighting

the lower your ms the less your KB the better your hits
I personally disagree. Both connections have their advantages but at the end it's 100% about the player. If you know the limitations of your latency, then you can mold a playstyle that works in your favor no matter what your Ping is (as long as it's playable)

fighting skids that look like cellsaver's "its just regedit" and "he just has really good ping" ping is a big factor in that

Those peeps could have also been clienting. Idk I've seen both vids and both guys seem suspicious, but I'm terrible at identifying knockback mechanics so oh well

100 percent sure they used a client, but I doubt they had 90+ms as well.

in the regedit video that guy had some sort of aimbot as well.

very true, but not my point.
Usually when I make a thread relating to the technical side of the game, I have the mindset that the 2 players are even play style.

This is one of the reasons I don't like Minecraft as much as other games.
As in MOBA's, or MMORPG's, ping doesn't affect performance THAT much.
Yes, in League you may be freezing sometimes or lagging, but that doesn't give you an actual advantage because you're not ghosting, just having delayed commands (but in MC if you're lagging you're most likely going to be a bit untargettable). In MMORPG's you just don't feel like you're lagging, and if you are having huge lag spikes, again it doesn't give you an advantage like in MC where sometimes you can be untargettable.

I'm sorry if this was hard to understand as I don't exactly know how to describe this.
i.e. In Minecraft if you're lagging, you will end up ghosting and teleporting around, sometimes making the other players not be able to attack you, and sometimes you might get hits on them too.
In League or MMORPG's, this doesn't happen, clearly because of the way this games are made. They're not FPS' so you can't really have an advantage by lagging, or have an advantage by having a good ping. Yes, you have faster responses from the game, but everyone has a chance (I play on 80-90 ping stable on EUW and honestly, I can even do Kha Zix double jumps (E-Q-E)
