It's a bit like a museum coming around here. All the people I used to talk to are like those little video screens that you can sit and listen to for a while and then move on to the next one.

Ha, I remember when spambot attacks happened several times a week. I'm sure they'll get taken down fast enough if you report them, there's a boatload of staff around these days.
It was always going to pass at some point. Changing and updating too much would drive old players away because it's not what they were used to, and never doing either just leads to other groups of people growing bored. I don't think there's any sort of tragedy or shame in it, it happens to...
I choose to. Here's the way I look at it: if everything is predetermined it doesn't matter, but if there is free will I would prefer to have used it in a positive way. Might as well do what I think is right, at least I won't regret.
It's going pretty well for me. I talk to a lot more people more often now which is nice, but my classes are definitely getting harder. I'm actually going to have to put in time if I want an A in AP Spanish or AP Calculus BC. But it's not really that bad, I think I can handle things.
I think it's definitely a low point right now, if not a more permanent decline. The forums have always been my thing, but a lot of people have been leaving or are less active now, and I unfortunately have been less active as well. I hate to sound like a hipster and I always used to dislike this...
But following guidelines, paying attention, jumping through hoops, and passing standards are major requirements for a wide variety of jobs. School isn't useless, even if some things you learn aren't particularly useful.
