Don't know if you remember this, but this is along the lines of something that #TeamRainbow (ah, the memories ;-)) did like 6 months ago. It didn't catch on as much as we had hoped, but it is certainly a good idea and I'd love to see a more well thought out version of it be implemented.

Along the lines of what powdski said, this thread seems to have been created very specifically in order to not be categorized as advertising. The only things that aren't allowed (to my knowledge) is a link to your videos/channel, or your channel name, neither of which appeared in the OP's post...
