You still have to know what you're doing before you can kill anyone. In my opinion, people have gotten like 100 times more competitive compared to a year ago.

Getting rid of block hitting and replacing it with shields just makes things to complicated for the already somewhat complex way competitive players play. The devs aren't considering competitive PvP and most the suggestion are coming from random people who don't know what strafing or using a rod...

I like 100 FOV, the game just looks a lot smoother with lower FOV

If you think about it, forcing everyone to upgrade to 1.8 will even out the playing ground. Even though we may lose a lot of PvP related things, it shouldn't effect our fights if the other person is on 1.8 also.

Rod combos are too OP by far. Plus a fishing rod is the least expected thing to be used in PvP, so it just makes it that much more epic.
