Considering the servers have over 1000 slots, 35 mods aren't a lot. You have to consider out of those 35, there is usually about 5 to 8 actually online at any given time. So that's not really a lot. I can't comment on new users becoming mods, but I trust that the senior staff and admins are...

I believe it's meant to spit out apples on the island, but I think it's glitched right now.

I looked into this some more and it apparently might be able to stop smart moving from working. I'll try to bring this up to Kpwn when I see him.

This plugin doesn't block the actual mods. It just sends the block codes that are provided by the mod developers, it's pretty useless. Sadly this won't stop minimaps or smart moving, so far the only plugin that is able to do that is No Cheat +.

Have you tried updating Java to the latest version? Also try closing out all other active programs when playing Minecraft. Google chrome can be a huge memory hog.

Also try not to double post. Just hit the submit button once, it will go through even if it takes a minute.

It's a common bug. However it's not possible to do this outside of lobby, so it's not a big deal.

Fishing rods don't damage players, they only do push back.

I thought of basing it off time as well. The problem with that is it would directly encourage players to camp out for as long as possible increasing the game duration. This way it is still killing focused and forces players to not worry/care about the time.

Yeah it's a lot more rare. It's seems like there are going to be much fewer time when a team of players get two diamond swords. Also full iron is super rare, which I'm kind of liking.

The tokens were rings, pins, bangles, medallions, and charms. There aren't any items like this in Minecraft. Sticks are used for crafting swords, so that is a defiant no go. The idea seems cool, but I don't think it fits in with Minecraft

I prefer 32x texture packs as they still have the sweet pixel feel. My current texture pack is mostly Eldpack, with a lot of the mob skins from Aardvark, and some misc pixels from Painterly pack.
