1.3.1 Connection problems?

UNINSTALL HAMACHI.

It is the root of all evil. I'm kidding, but seriously, I had been having these problems since 1.3, and uninstalling it instantly fixed all of my connection problems. The connection bars are now accurate, it takes less time to load connection statuses, and I now connect yo servers much faster.

I had this issue since about 1.3...the only fix I could find for it was to delete every single server from my server list but one. Suddenly, it loads instantly and flawlessly, but adding a single server more to it completely screws it up again...

Hamachi seems to be the source of a lot of connection problems I've heard of. That's part of the reason I dislike having it...but sadly, I need it to play on a lot of my friends servers. I can't just easily delete it and forget it...
This also brings up the question - what about the Minecraft 1.3 update made Hamachi cause such problems? It's still partly Minecraft's fault, so it could possibly be fixed by modifying the client too, couldn't it? I'd much rather find a good, working mod for Minecraft to fix it than uninstalling Hamachi. :/
(I doubt there is a mod for it though...)

If there is some mod like that, I have not heard of it. I find it a pain uninstalling Hamachi too, but I find that it always makes my connection better.

I don't have Hamachi, but I had those problems anyways in 1.3.

But for some reason, right around when 1.4 came out, and TIMV came into being, I added those servers for the hell of it, but then the connection to those servers were one bar from being full all the time. :/

But now that 1.4 came out, I'm getting pretty decent connections to all MC servers, including the MCSG ones, so IDK what happened for me :/

hamachi sucks ... it causes tons of problems. Why cant people just run proper non hamachi servers
