Also - bragging about FPS in Minecraft is stupid. If you want to brag about your computer, go run something like 3DMark Firestrike, PCMark or Heaven Benchmark, and then go post your score.

FPS in Minecraft is irrelevant - many different factors can effect it, and any FPS over about 60 - 80 is useless, as your monitor only has a refresh rate of 60Hz, which is only displaying 60 FPS anyway.

It really depends on what monitor you have.

I thought I should add this, but competitive players have a tendency to use 120Hz to 144Hz monitors. (I obviously don't.)
This small topic is probably also for jokes and fun, since only the minority of Minecraft could ever need more than 300FPS.

Thanks for mentioning benchmarks.
