IT'S TIME.

I've longed for this feature ever since I joined MCSG. It would be SO EASY to code, and there would be no downsides.

I'm tired of waiting. What's the point of blocking "eZ" if you can just avoid in in 1000 ways? Why is there /chat ignore and not /chat off? AND WHY IS THE COMMAND BROKEN ANYWAY?

I'm sorry, but I'm tired of all the flame, hate, and crap I have to put up with in the games. I can turn my chat off, but that means I get no announcements, no plugin messages, and much more.

It's time to add this command.

ez and r3kt were removed in an update, but I agree with you. a /chat off command would bee helpful

I absolutely agree.

And to those who suggest simply toggling chat in Minecraft options - the player wouldn't be able to see server messages, tributes fallen, et cetera.
This is a great idea that has been suggested multiple times in the past.

Maybe an option to only see friends' chat?
