Consideration of Retiering the Chests

Hey guys!
I've recently been getting back into MCSG after a long, much needed break. Upon returning, I find that some of the tiering of the maps is actually quite laughable - especially among the older maps. Who else would like to see a mass retiering of the chests with some community support. Some chests that should plain as day be marked T2 are T1 and some chests in obvious places are marked T2 when they should be T1. Thoughts, anyone?

If something like this was to happen old time players would not like it, new players would though, and I think it's better for mcsg to focus on the hopes of old-time (experienced) players. Though I'd love for like a full Valleyside revamp and experiment to see how it goes.

This adds diversity so the people who don't know chest routes can find tier 2's easier.

The revamps of the new maps keeps most of the normal chest's on the normal map lets say Holiday Resort v2 we added some new chests and kept some of the old one.

Yeah maybe, some of the tiering is off. It's satisfying when you get a tier 2, when you find one and it's location makes sense.

Maybe they should work on retiering some of the less popular maps first, then if the community supports the new maps, they can individually work on the more popular maps.

It's how the new MCSG players want it, they don't want Hunger Games, where you use strategy, you have to know the map, the person who knows the map and the strategies on using the map terrain to your advantage wins, no it's not like that anymore.

That's how it should be played. Those who put in the time deserve the wins. It gets frustrating when anyone can win by getting a random sword from corn and fishing rod. The skill gap for MCSG has decreased immensely - partially due to the maps and tiering.

Ayyy Tigerstain! Good to see other 2012 players back in the community.

I completely agree about the tiering. However, I would like to take this a step further and say that there are way too many maps despite the tiering issues. MCGamer currently has around 50 maps and I think it would be better for them to have around 25-30 maps that they could spend more time maintaining.
