Grace Period?

I made my comment on the actual thread.Then I replied to someones post.not that big of a deal get over it.

It's just spam... I didn't even make a big deal out of it -.- You seem to be angrier about me commenting on it than I am about you double posting. It's just not something many forumers like, and it's unnecessary because you can reply to multiple things in one post. Now I don't want to start a flame war, so I'm gonna stop now but just please don't double post...

A grace period is too noob friendly in my opinion. The idea of the hunger games is 'survival of the fittest' so anyone who is incapable of making it past the first minute of the game... Sucks... MCSG is not meant to be noob friendly. That would ruin everything. May swell give everyone a sword at the start too..--

Thank you all for your answers, those are some good points, i know its supposed to be a battle right at the start it i know why everyone would be pissed, ive seen some good servers with a grace period and was just as fun but for some reason MCSG is more fun. I was just wondering if it would be a cool idea but it seems like nobody is a fan of it. I would be fine if i got killed with a sword at the start but being fisted(thats what she said) at the start is kind of embarrasing. So yeah...

I mostly dont get punched but there is that one occational time in 30 games you get the crap beaten out of you.

Not for me. Sometimes when someone takes my route on solar frost, I punch them a ton but they end up dying of fall damage for like half their health because it's not on ground level

I'm sorry, but have you read the Hunger Games book series on which this is based off of? In the beginning, it's a bloodbath, no grace period. If you go in, you have a high chance of not coming out, so a lot of tributes just run for the hills.
