Guide 'Guide': What will I find in each forum + How to decide which forum your thread belongs in

Sometimes the forums can get a bit messy with threads in the wrong places, so, here's this thread to assist in figuring out where your threads belong, as well as what can be discovered in each forum. Each forum mentioned has a hyperlink to that thread in the heading, so just click the heading and visit that thread.
**Before you post anywhere, search for the topic you're going to post about. It might have already been answered, saving you the trouble of making a thread, and saving others the trouble of having to reply to it again.

"Media"
This thread is the holy grail of MCSG videos. Instead of posting the 10,000th "Advertise your YouTube channel!" Or "Subscribe to my channel!" post your video here. You can also view other player's MCSG videos here.

"General Support"
The general support thread is for anyone seeking help. If you're having any kind of MCSG related issue, feel free to ask questions there. You can also browse this thread to answer player questions, and see if anyone has had the same issues as you.

"Ban Disputes"
Believe it or not, ban disputes don't belong on staff member's walls, 0 shocking right?) they belong here. If you have been banned, and feel the ban was 'unjust', follow the given template, and answer all the questions. The staff members will reply as soon as possible, so be patient and wait it out.
As a player, there isn't much to see on this forum, because only Senior Staff can view ban disputes. You can view the status of your own ban dispute, but nobody else's.

"Sponsor's Lounge"
The Sponsor's Lounge is a perk of donating, and any donator/staff member can view this thread. The thread is basically an additional "Off-Topic Discussions" thread, with the difference being that it's only available to donators and staff. You can post anything related to minecraft, MCSG, or something completely random, BUT refrain from posting threads like: "Advertise your YouTube channel here!" Why? Two reasons; there is already OVER 9000 of these threads, and we have a media section for a reason.

"Survival Games Disscussion"
The Survival Games Disscussion forum is for anything MCSG. You can post a poll about thoughts on a new map, thoughts on different aspects of the game, etc. This forum has a wide variety of things you could post about, so sometimes it's confusing. Below are a few tell-tale signs your thread belongs in Survival Games Disscussion.
~Does it relate to MCSG?
~Does it fit any of the other categories? If so, list all the relations it has to that forum, and this one. Whichever has the most relations is where it belongs.

"Feature Suggestions"
The feature suggestions forum is for, you guessed it, suggestions. If you're playing MCSG one day when suddenly, an amazing idea comes to you, and you want to share it with everyone else. How do you do that? Simply post it in "Feature Suggestions." Almost any suggestion is valid for this thread, because no matter how ridiculous, your thoughts matter; UNLESS the thread is about one of the listed "No no suggestions." You can find the no no suggestions here.

"Clans and Teams"
Got an idea for your very own clan? Post it here! This thread is for any user-created clans and teams. What is a clan? A clan is a large associated group/team of players who will usually gather on servers and play together. If you're interesting in creating a clan but don't know how, check out my guide thread on making a clan here.


"Strategies"
Have an award winning MCSG strategy that you'd like to share with the rest of the community? Looking for an award winning strategy? The strategies forum is for you! Here you'll find and be able to post chest routes, find polls on favorite melee tactics, and tips for survival. You can find just about anything strategic on this forum, as well as post it.

"Map downloads and discussions"
~Finished maps
If you've created your own map, start-to-finish, and would like it to be seen by the MCSG community with the possibility of being added as an MCSG map, post the map here. You can also view finished maps,giving praise and constructive criticism.
~"Maps in progress"
Made some progress with your map? Want to share that progress? Feel free to do so here, as well as view other maps progression.
~"Map Ideas"
Have a fresh, creative idea for a map but no way to build it yourself? Post it here, maybe a map maker will execute the idea for you. You can also view Map ideas here and give feedback, maybe even using the idea in a map of your own.

"Report abuse"
This ones another shocker. The "Report Abuse" forum is for anyone who had caught someone breaking the rules to report them. This is the appropriate place for that, not staff walls, or other threads. Remember when posting about a rule breaker to follow the given template.
As a player, you cannot view any threads here except those created by you.

Other 'MCSG' servers-
~"Survival server"
This forum is for any discussion relating to the 'MCSG survival server'. This server has no relation to MCSG except for the fact it's run by them, so keep the discussions away from the Survival Games, and keep it about the Survival server.
~"Creative Server"
This forum, much-like the 'Survival server' is run by MCSG, but as you can tell, isn't the Survival games. The discussions on this thread will be about the MCSG creative server, so try and keep it to that
~"Tekkit server"
Well, I think you know the drill. This forum is for discussions involving the MCSG tekkit server.

"Anything Minecraft"
The "anything minecraft" thread is for, well, anything minecraft. You can post and view threads about Creating minecraft avatars, installing mods, playing adventure maps, and more. You can find and post about literally anything involving minecraft here, unless of course, it's already been posted about.

"Other games"
The "Other games" thread is a place to post and find polls about your favorite games other than minecraft, threads listing Steam and Xbox accounts so you can add them, and lots more. Anything found here will be related to games other than minecraft.

"Off-topic discussions"
"Off-topic discussions" is the place to find and post any random information. The
criteria for this thread is anything not regarding games, MCSG, maps, and anything else found in it's own forum. This forum is for anything unlisted, and random.
