I haven't seen a guide on how to join a game with the new features MCGamer has added since MCGamer V2, so I decided to make one. Enjoy —Fox.
When you join MCGamer's server, us.mcgamer.net, you will spawn in the HUB:
Now, this is how the HUB looks like:
You have a few items in your Hot-Bar, and those make navigation through the HUB much easier.
Here is what what each items does:
Quick Teleport - Right click to teleport!
When you click the compass, this appears:
You can click any of these items to go through different Mini-games.
You can see which icon is for each mini-game here:
This warps you to the Arcade HUB that has different arcade games such as Hungry Games.
This warps you to the Survival Games Classic Lobby.
This warps you to the Team Fortress 2 Lobby.
This warps you to the Maze.
This warps you to the Rocket Maze lobby.
This warps you to the Battlegrounds lobby.
This warps you to the Zed Chase Lobby.
This warps you to the Survival Games Lobby.
This warps you to Spawn (Normal HUB).
This warps you to the Survival Bingo Lobby.
This warps you the Quarter Quell Lobby.
Show/Hide Players - Right click to show/hide Players!
The title says it all. You right click the compass and it won't show all the players in the HUB and lobbies anymore!
MCGamer News - Right click to view news!
You right click the Enchanted book to read the latest news regarding this community. Although, I recommend that you read any current events or updates here on the Forums.
MCGamer's Credit Shop - Right click to open the shop!
You can buy multiple items like pets or hats with the credits you earn.
Lobby Selector - Right click to switch lobbies!
You can switch from the multiple HUB's we have.
Now that we know the HUB basics, lets find out how to join any game-type:
The easiest way to join any game-type is by typing the following command structure:
If you want to join Team Fortress 2 game-type you type: /server TF2
if you want to join Survival Bingo you type: /server SB
if you don't get it yet, you type the initial letter of each word; for example: Survival Games. S. G; Since those are the initials of the game-type, you can then type them on the command /server, making /server SG and it will automatically join you to an open game.
It's up to you what mini-game you will like to play, however this server is known for our famous Survival Games— based off the Hunger Games movie! We also have Quarter Quell which is based off Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
