Is this my internet connection?

I don't know whether this means i'm ULTRA bad at PvP or if it's caused because of my bull crap internet, but if I have a diamond sword and someone else has a wooden one they always seem to have a longer range. It doesn't matter what weapon I have, they always have a longer range. I can be clicking them so many times, but none hit when they're hitting me every single time. It sucks.

No Cheat Plus, it blocks hackers, but there is also a forcefield block in there. And then NCP think's you're using forcefield, and blocks you from hitting.
