It's basically a village on a default world.
We have 3 or so other castle / village type maps. This will most likely be rejected.

Don't worry, much more is going to be added to the map that will make not just a village on a normal world! It is still not complete yet

Maps look a lot better and original when they're terraformed with tools such as world edit and voxel sniper. Do you see any of the current server maps using default terrain?

Yes but the style of this map works well with the open plain biome, so I don't really see any problem with it as long as it works

Don't put a map on default Minecraft terrain, it doesn't work. Terraform the land yourself. Otherwise that it looks pretty nice.

What makes your map unique from another map is the terraforming, which in this case you have none. I mean sure, the landmarks do count when considering a map to be good or bad, but it's mainly the terraforming.

It's also stupid to re-write an entire post on another site, it saved a lot of time for me doing it this way, plus I don't think people really mind have to go on Planet Minecraft to look at it.

What makes your map unique from another map is the terraforming, which in this case you have none. I mean sure, the landmarks do count when considering a map to be good or bad, but it's mainly the terraforming.

It that good that it's unique that way? Plus don't forget that the map is not near finished yet and most of the land that is there now will be terraformed to work better with the map, since that post there is now a terraformed beach with medieval enemy rowing boats docking.
