Hey guys... I was looking into getting a laptop for gaming/youtube and for school next year.
I'd like to get good performance on minecraft, csgo, and tf2. Preferably over 250 fps on mc.

These are some laptops I've looked into

Any suggestions: I can't spend more than $1,100.

Thank you!

I personally believe that you should build your own gaming laptop because #1, the price of creating one is less and it would be faster than most of the laptops you've listed. Also, you may be able to save money and use the rest wisely. That's just my opinion haha.

Umm I've never heard of anyone successfully "Building their own laptop"...

I'd go with the 1st option

My uncle built his own beast computer but hey,
He most likely meant DESKTOP PC, the one with the tower. Not "laptop" xD Oh man...

Anyway, I've built my own desktop PC and I'm a tech sav.

^^ ASUS one will be perfect for you c: I'm sure it can do what you need at FAIR settings for a LAPTOP. Just as heads up: There are two options for the laptop. One with or without a 128gb SSD, I'd get it WITH which is around $1,200. However, slap your OS on there and some games and that should make quite the speed difference c:

Best of luck!

**EDIT**: Those FPS numbers you spoke about, you know your eyes won't notice that kind of FPS. Unless you're a fighter pilot .. But hey! What do I know :p

About the FPS, he may plan on hooking it up to a seperate monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60 so it might be worth it.

Was it a laptop or a desktop? I am somewhat informed when it comes to this, I have a high-end custom built (by me) PC with a custom water loop too
Think I should get Skylake, either AMD Fury with 8GB or SLI 980TI, 200+ SSD, probs just a 1 TB HDD on the side, and probs a Corsair 110GT? lel I'd never water cool. Never will I ever overclock, oh and this is all for 4k gaming c: Hmm what to do.. For the case.. I'd like to get the Inwin 909 when it comes out :p

I'll still play Minecraft though..

Well 144hz, at 1080p though would be a bit boring, indeed :p Then again if he does, what's the point of the laptop? Cx Maybe being portable, yes, however you may as well use a desktop.

I'd go with the 980Ti sli just due to more compatibility

I'm pretty sure he had a laptop since he's been traveling a lot with it.
