Name Changes Help!

So I heard name changes are coming and I am wondering if I change my ign will change will my platinum donor be on my new account or will it be lost?!

This is a long strand of letters and numbers that is used to index your account specifically, and it never changes. When your name changes, your UUID will stay the same, so the system still knows that you have your rank
