Recording Software

Hello MCGamer community,
Just yesterday my PC came back to me from fixing and I was excited to play and record with it again. The problem was I forgot what settings I used to render my Fraps videos using Sony Vegas Pro 13, so the videos come out very pixelated after rendering. So I am now looking for either the best settings to render fraps using SVP 13 or get a new recording software.

I was talking to friends and they recommend I use OBS; I heard about OBS a lot and decided to give it a try, only to unfortunately play and record with it at tops 7fps.

I am looking for recommendations for good recording softwares I can use, ones that are easy and doesn't drop a lot of frames (I need a maximum of 30).

Dxtory makes me get 3 fps. (I usually get 800+)
