UPDATE 1:23 AM CDT (4:23 AEST): We have fully restored our AU network. Have fun and may the odds be ever in your favor.

UPDATE 1:11 AM CDT (4:11 AEST): We have gotten the server back from SAU and subv3rsion is currently installing all the necessary services on the new operating system. We should be back online in approximately 30 minutes. Thanks for your patience!

Hello all,
As some of you may have noticed, our AU network has been down and redirecting to different networks (for people living in Australia, it usually picks our US servers) for the majority of the day today. In an effort to provide full transparency on the situation, here's some details of what happened.
3:40 AM CDT (6:40 PM AEST): Our server monitoring system detected that the server hosting the proxy instances (what a player connects to when joining our network) for the AU network went offline.
4:08 AM CDT (7:08 PM AEST): subv3rsion is online and investigating by this point. Upon further investigation, he discovered that a hardware failure had led to the server going offline.
4:21 AM CDT (7:21 PM AEST): Seeing that it was unlikely our AU network would be able to come back up anytime soon, we set up a temporary redirect to our network round-robin so that AU players would have somewhere to play in the meantime, even if the location isn't ideal.
7:39 PM CDT (10:39 AM AEST): This thread was posted. We're still waiting on a response from our Australian datacenter regarding the situation, and we're trying to get the failed hardware replaced and get our AU network back online as quickly as possible.
This thread will be updated with more information as it becomes available. Our top priority right now is getting the AU network back online, as nobody likes when things don't work.
Thanks for your patience!
TL;DR: Hardware failure on one of the servers hosting AU literally dropped the AU network off the face of the earth. We're working with our datacenter on the situation and hope to have the network back online ASAP.
