The reward for completing the Kalos Pokedex is quite under-whelming...in fact I suggest not using your time to complete it, the reward is an Oval Charm, the Oval Charm makes it so there is a higher chance to find an egg in the Pokemon daycare. You also get certificates for each section of the Kalos Pokedex after completing it.

I recommend to try to finish the NATIONAL Pokedex as the reward may be more satisfying! The reward for the National Dex has not yet been revealed because you can't transfer Pokemon from previous games onto your Pokemon X/Y game. Late December is when you will be able to transfer Pokemon, also Pokebank will be released! So if you don't already know, it is impossible to complete the National dex without transferring Pokemon to your X/Y.

The original games for the most part give you an reward such as a certificate saying you caught all the pokemon. Nothing else. The oval charm is pretty good if you are breeding and IV chaining pokemon and egg moves down from parents. Then use flame body to speed up egg hatching times.
