Ok, do you get lit on fire for trying to rush to mid too early in the countdown? If not, then you do if you sit in lava the entire waiting room, cause I just randomly burned to death within 10 seconds of game start.

You do not get lit on fire if you go too early.

If you were on fire in the lobby and you get teleported to the game, you will still be on fire and will burn to death.

Lesson learned: Don't play with lava!
