I Personally, Don't Want To See a Stat Reset, I Don't Play MCSG Nearly as Much as I Used To, and I Have Decent Stats, However, I Wouldn't Have The Time To Work on My Stats Again! Also, The Meaning of a Statistic is ALL The Data of Everything You Have Done. Which Means Doing a Stat Reset Would Take Away The Meaning...

I'm homeschooled buddy, and I'm making up for it at different times :) Also I don't boost, I play the game legit and for fun, you can also see that I'm actually currently rank 24.
I suppose it depends on your definition of boosting. In my opinion teaming with 3 hub 8 randies you easily take out at the end on CA is boosting but whatever pleases you :)

Lol. Why should new players get it easy? I wanted a year of my life playing and thats on me wanting to be up there. Just because they're new players dosn,t mean anything
I'll gladly spend less than two months breaching the top 25. My 600 current wins are from about a 2 to 2.5 week period right after I reset my stats.

I voted yes. It's just for my opinion. I have a 1/5 ratio right now and i'm playin like a 1/4 ratio so i think i maybe could better my ratio.
But it's true, there may be a lot of hacker who would try to get to the top of the leaderboards while hacking.
And booster would be a big thing again aswell.

Please take this seriously. It happened before with the chest update, and it doesn't need to happen again. A week with it wasn't going to be enough to persuade so many people, nobody likes change right away. It was a decision the community as a whole didn't deserve to make.
Don't get me wrong, it's super awesome the community has such a say in so much, but the numbers mean nothing if the reasons or intentions of these numbers is misguided or misunderstood.
I'm not saying there wasn't good arguments against that chest update - I'm not saying anything about my opinion on this leaderboard reset now at all - I just find it frustrating that the whole community has been left to make these major decisions instead of people who actually know what they're talking about. Taking away leaderboard statistics is something most people don't fully even understand the impact of, especially younger players in-game who haven't read this forum topic or really thought about it beyond "it's unfair to old players"/"it's beneficial to me." It's in my honest opinion that many people don't even understand how much better they may feel being memorialized, instead of constantly fighting the incoming wave of wins by others just to keep up. Equally so, I believe many who want the reset and are voting all for it may blindly be doing so with this thought that they could become the next number one player, when obviously, they can't all be that.

I'm not stating whether or not I'm for or against the reset. All I'm saying is to take poll results, in terms of the verdict, with a grain of salt. There are so many other factors, such as votes to support a youtuber, or votes without any actual thought other than personal gain, etc... Look at the arguments proposed over anything else. You cannot expect much of the younger playerbase to have arguments of equal quality on a subject such as psychology as an adult, let alone potentially an actual psychologist. Similarly, a game community cannot be expected to make intelligent balance decisions unless they are within a competitive side of the community (which is still questionable at times.) or a game designer themselves. There is a reason other games ignore the extreme backlash after a nerf to a popular weapon. It's not because they are wrong and refuse to admit it, it's because most people don't know what the heck they're talking about. The reality is that nobody will care in a month and it was to the benefit of the game in the long term.

A poll will not always reflect how people will actually feel about it in the long run. A poll represents the opinions of everyone right now. A well formulated argument or response represents the thoughts of someone informed.

When it all comes down to it, I always think about it quite simply. Would anyone still hold any grudges about the new chest system if it happened? Unless it was atrocious, I honestly believe many would have forgotten a long time ago. And the fuss wouldn't have been unnecessary. There would have been an improved system that ultimately leaves many less frustrated over small quirks in our current system, frustrations they never realized existed. It could breath life into chest routes and the game as a whole. And the reality is that when people voted on that poll, they never took into consideration all the small annoyances or problems with our current system, because they don't stand out enough to them. This does not mean they don't matter.

Finally, just to make this clear - This does not mean that I believe looking at only forum responses and tallying them is better. The key is picking out the arguments/responses that are of quality, and not of bias/etc. Decisions about the evolution of the servers and their features should not be based on a tally system, what really matters is "what is the stronger argument," or rather, "what are the upsides and downsides we can afford to take." There is nothing wrong with including community thoughts in your argument. However, community thoughts should never be a decider or tie breaker on their own. It's never a simple "more than 50% votes = +1 point for red team." The argument should always consider the reasoning behind these votes.
gg ez ;)

Look if you asked all the top 100 people what they would vote, they would vote No, I would too, I don't want to see myself in a "legacy leaderboards" that's BS I don't give a care if I can check my old stats. I want to keep progressing not stopping and starting over that's not the right idea to start again. Look, I get people in the top 2000 supporting this frankly they probably don't have enough time or they aren't simply good enough to win a lot of games to get into the top 100. Heres the thing about that, I was rank 300 when I got 1000 wins, yeah that's a ways from the top 100. I wanted to keep playing to get to the top 100 because I knew I could. Anyone else could have done what I did. You don't just reset the leaderboards to make it "fair" for the new people, and plus, ratio won't even matter anymore. 1/2 of the people in the top 100 would have better than a 3/4 ratio (ratio still doesn't really mean anything but you will destroy it if you make this change). I'm not taking my time and I will make a bigger statement later when I have time. Heres my point though, It pisses me off reading this because I can assure that no one in there right minds would want this if this thing happened. You do this you'll loose players, and most important you loose money sense most people care about that. Note : I did not spend time on this but this is a BS update.

NO. If you guys look in the leaderboards and check everyone who votes NO (top 100-1000 players maybe) you will realize that most of them have put hard work to get there AND most spent alot of money to get diamond-platine ranks. In fact, i'm pretty sure at least 75% of players who have diamond-platine ranks are located in the top of the leaderboards. Please respect the fact that we paid so much to keep the game going, get good stats and we deserve to keep things the same. If stats are reset, yes I will quit and alot of donators will do too which is unfair because we are the ones who pay for the servers so PLEASE think about the donators.

edit: Also, could we know what would be the new stats tracked, i'm pretty sure it's not worth destroying 2+ million players stats.

How about daily/weekly/monthly leaderboards instead? That way people have the chance to be at the top of something without having to lose their overall stats. :D
this is a better way to go, honestly the only people voting yes are the people who have like 50/500+ Think about the people that still want to get 1000 wins or the people who already have 1k wins OR MAYBE THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE 4K WINS WHO HAVE BEEN ON THIS SERVER FROM THE BEGINNING.
