Community Poll: Leaderboards Reset with Newest Update?

Assuming your old statistics would be saved separately, would you like the leaderboards to be reset?

  • Yes. I support Legacy Leaderboards, new statistics to track, and a global leaderboards reset.

O i c now.... u want good people to quit so the bad people can have more of a chance like that one time i made a clan and applied to it because i wanted everyone to have an equal chance? Oh, wait. that was a joke.

This idea is so stupid.....
So far i checked everyones stats that said "Yes" and i never seen above 1/5 yet.....

The only thing that would be better is if you just add a daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards.

First page, And i think you guys should, it isnt fair for players that played when the servers just came out. I came here like 4 months ago and theres no chance of being top 100 because of how so many people played way before me. So i think this is a great idea!
Well, It doesn't really matter how long you've played. i've played for about a year, And people within a month went higher than me rank.

This is an addition that came up in mind as i read this thread.

EXAMPLES:

1: The Olympics: Look at Usain bolt.
That guy is EXTREMELY fast.
Do you honestly think it took him a day to get him where he is now? NO.
It took him years and years of dedication to get him where he is now, and thats for everyone that is good in their own category, for example: Basketball, Swimming, Baseball, etc.

It takes dedication to get to #1.
#1 Means you are ranked higher than anyone else, despise the other factors that can give you advantage such as ping, fps, it doesn't matter.
The point is you need to work hard to get in the top, its not something to be gifted with.

Its like saying "HEY PEWDIEPIE, IMA DELETE YO VIDS AND RESET YO SUBS"

To make a long story short: No, you want to be #1 work hard for it.

One thing I don't get - if the old stats are saved on another page of leaderboards, what's the problem with a stat reset? You'll still be known as a very good PvP'er, and that won't change. Obviously being someone who hasn't worked hard for my stats, I guess I see the reason for someone who had voted no, but for the server as a whole, it seems like there needs to be a fresh set of leaderboards, because the current leaderboards are two years old. At a certain point it's nearly impossible for someone to get a decent spot on the leaderboards just because of the amount of time that the leaderboards have been up.

The leaderboards just seem outdated to me, and also keep in mind that if there isn't a stat reset, the things that they were planning on adding may not be added.

EDIT: I just thought of this, too. I'm assuming a possibility of something being added if there is a stat reset would be daily or weekly leaderboards... Would that not be cool?

Because no one will give a crap about the old leaderboard, and all hard work will be lost

If new leaderboards are added, only people in the first page or two will be remembered. Also, if the leaderboards reset, the amount of boosters and teams of 4+ would be absolutely insane. Not to mention the hackers.
