It has come to my attention that the MCG Servers are really being ruined by the hackers, I mean I love the servers but I literally sometimes can't play at all. The hackers have come to the point where there is more hackers than ordinary players and this is getting to the point where it is half the time unplayable. I believe MCG really need to start allowing more Mods onto the EU servers and allowing them to get through the application stage. Like not trying to be rude or anything but I make a 4k word application and some Sr. Mods when I ask them on the TS say its amazing, but then when I apply I get declined and told to add more to questions that I cant actually add any more to... Anyone agree with me? I get the feeling so often now when I get killed by a massive hacker team that I just wanna quit, but if I had Mod like I have been trying to get, I could do something about it there and then. And put in mind me being Mod doesn't just help my experience it helps a lot of people because that is one more hackers banned.. Just a little rant to see if I am the only one seeing the fact that the servers are being ruined.

You do not have to a Mod to help rid of hackers. The recently new implemented /report command brings abuse and hackers to our attention. Another way to exploit these hackers in on the report abuse section. The staff team is like a plant and the community is fertilizer. Without fertilizer, we can still grow but it always helps and speeds things up if you bring these issues to our attention :)

I understand what you are saying but like say this person is going for stats, so they would like to keep their stats pretty good. The mod doesn't arrive right away and you will just die, I would love to get mod because I could take things into my own hands, but I am basically unable to get it because I have no clue what to put for the questions I have been told to upgrade..

There will always be cheaters, there is nothing to be done about that. However, you can always help control the crowd by doing the things I stated above :)

Which I do all the time and I would like to do more :) Plus I would love to suggest so many things but nothing would actually be put in place...

I completely agree with Kieran, there should be more moderators on the EU servers, throughout my time on MCGamer, I've probably seen 10 to be completely honest, and some of them have been demoted and resigned, so that leaves us with more hackers. EU MCGamer has a ratio of 1 hacker per game, and let's face it, it's true, I expect to see one hacker one game every time I join one, that's if I'm lucky, I tend to see more hackers per game where I really cant do anything about and I cant report it to any MCGamer moderators since the US staff and AU staff are probably sleeping, and I currently know of only two EU moderators which do their job correctly, badger_pig123 and _Lactios, at this current state of time I really cant remember any other EU moderator, and allowing it would help everyone out a ton if we can get more EU moderators. The US players don't really go through the problems that we go through, and it is harder to play on EU than US and AU. I've posted this reply to ensure people how annoying it is to try to play MCGamer, I hope that the staff team would recognize this aswell.

We understand your frustrations. We have EU clean sweeps quite frequently to help out as much as possible. The issue has been brought up before and to my knowledge, we are trying out best :)

Although I do agree with you, I feel as though you've made this thread at a more personal level. From what I see, it looks like this thread was made because you were declined and you feel as though the decision was wrong. I may have got the wrong idea from this thread - but that's what it looks like. :p

I can name many more mods that do their job on the EU servers. How can you possibly say that when the majority are disguised? The staff team were making progress with recruiting EU staff but unfortunately several senior staff members and moderators from the EU community have recently resigned, thus bringing us back to square one. More mods are being recruited each day to deal with the current influx.

Unfortunately I don't know much about the whole EU scene. I do know that 123456789matrty and Exploding_Wrath were active mods that did an awesome job. They aren't mod anymore for some BS reasons. ( I do not mean to be bashing on the rest of the EU staff team)

The EU cleansweep numbers are pretty low if you analyze them. I went over the numbers of the last one which was roughly 6 hackers an hour... Keep in mind you have about 50+ participants

Yes being declined from mod sparked the thought but right now I think everyone is noticing the lack of mods :p

50+ participants? Oh boy, I wish there was that many! There's usually 15-25 players in each channel - usually 3/4 staff. I think the clean sweeps should be advertised more and have an incentive in participating, e.g iron donor for more successful bans, etc.
