Disrespect "eZ" "GG10" "Rekt"

Over the past few months I have hated playing on the server. I used to love playing but it has turned in to a total nightmare. Every once in a while I will "try to play MCSG" but it doesn't work. Every game there is a hacker saying eZ or a donor saying gg10 its always something. All this trash talk/ disrespect has increased traumatically. People are now saying the most disrespectful things all the time.

A lot of people over the course of this year have left for the specific reason of the trash talk. It is normal for people to quit or just leave because they found a different game to play, but the amount of people that have left the network has been tremendous.

All day long MCgamer is allowing the hatred pouring threw the server making playing MCSG a living hell. MCgamer network is unbearable no one is trying to get rid of the disrespect, they are just adding to it.

I believe all the disrespect like "eZ" should be blocked from the filter and or mutes could arise from bypassing it. Blocking these unneeded words would help the community "or whats left of it" come back to normal in to preventing the immature.

I am only one guy. I can not do this alone. Please help in the fight against the disrespect. Help make MCgamer normal again.

I understand your frustration. I remember the anger as well and I still don't like it when people say that. It is not needed and it makes people insecure and look down upon themselves. I will actually pass the issue onto a Sr. mod

There's this really cool thing called turning your chat off, and unless you urgently need to use it for whatever reason, it is strongly suggested you do if it is negatively influencing your stay (rude remarks, harassment, etc.). Of course, the simplest thing to do would be to simply ignore their remarks, but this is easier said than done, so removing them all together would be the best idea.

it is just a game. You might be bummed for a second but you will be fine in a flash. Its a game not real life. Yes you loose intrest in the game but that is your fault. You are giving more attention to the people that do that let them be if you don't react to it they will stop doing it. Its your fault that you are making it hard for yourself. If you ignore them you will have the fun of your life-time if you react the only one that is making yourself from having less fun is you. Haters are going to hate.

As much as I wish this was in the filter, turning the chat off is way more effective. If you turn the Scale down to 0%, you can still talk and use commands.

The problem is that some people are really rude to strangers over a game.
They think that saying "gg" means nothing but good game. They do not understand the concept of empathy.

I think you're forgetting that MCSG works off the chat. Someone who is into the game and wants to play normally needs the chat so they can know when to run, if a certain player is saying something to them (To do with a team, ect.), or when deathmatch, the game, ect. is coming. Of course, the side bar at the side tells us this kind of things, but it would just be so much easier if you had the chat turned on, so I never really saw why people suggest this.
Also, I totally agree with you on the fact that people should ignore it, but I dont think this thread is focussed around the fact that he's getting angry with it (Which he probably is, btw) but more that its being said in the first place and how it shows that the community is getting worse.

there are other minecraft servers where comments like "ez" or "gg10" cause a (temp) ban, it should be the same on mcsg

Someone who is into the game and wants to play normally needs the chat so they can know when to run, if a certain player is saying something to them (To do with a team, ect.), or when deathmatch, the game, ect. is coming. Well most good things do come with a price, and you have to decide if you mind risking not knowing when someone wants to team with you or other chat-related things, or have it on and continue getting frustrated. Honestly, I prefer playing without it as it distracts me less and I can focus more on the game itself.

Yes, I agree with you. I get angry a lot when I play games (Its Normal) but the nonsense is making me a little annoyed and angry. The reason I made this thread is more so to show that every day people are having no fun playing a really fun game because of the disrespect that is growing at a fast rate and I am trying to get more awareness for the occurrence that is happening so that we can make playing on the server much more fun like people used to do a while back.
