How did you learn about Minecraft? What about MCSG?

Minecraft: It had been such a bug deal to me when it came to the xbox, I always knew about Minecraft since Alpha, but I thought it was a waste of $30. But when it came to xbox, all my IRL friends played with me. I had a blast playing it when my friend Jared (Shout I love you full homo) got it for me. And he let me into my own little world where I played with tons of awesome people (Garrett, Steven, Adam, Alex, Justin, and Jared. Shoutout to them too.) We built towns and amusement parks and we even played are own hunger games matches. To that day I still thought Minecraft PC was a waste of money, when my friends whom mentioned already Garrett and Stevem bought it. So for christmas of 2012 I bought it, with the spare monry from my iPod, which I am using to type with now (fun fact). And I didn't really play anything but UberMinecrafts HG, but after 1000's of Minecraft Hunger Games after watching Bajan's videos, I finally found this. The place I love and hope to never leave. And I met some awesome people. Like Hiqhlights and SlavTheRussian, Mooclan etc. My point is, I met a lot of awesome people, A LOT. Also, Ishould turn this into a story ;p.

I first heard of Minecraft during 2 years ago at school when a few of my friends were talking about. I asked them what it was all about and they explained in general what the game was. A couple of days later one of my friends gave me the free version of Minecraft to try out. I remember that when I first tried it I thought to myself "This is boring and totally stupid"(being a noob and not knowing how to play properly). I left it on my PC not bothering with it again until a couple months later on the last few days of school until summer, where my friends had put the game on the schools' computers and where all playing on it during a lesson (since this was the last few days of school the teach allowed it ). From watching them play and learning the basics I had finally realised what an amazing game this really was, and I felt stupid for not realising this months back. Since I've been completely addicted to Minecraft and have yet to become bored of it


As for MCSG I found by watching the minecraft youtubers playing on SG1 so I decided to look for servers to play on. I googled "Minecraft Survival Games" and obviously MCSG was the first result

I was browsing youtube in January of 2012 and I discovered minecraft, I started off by playing the free version online and quickly bought the game.

In mid April I had played on a server in which I was introduced to minecraft hunger games. I played a few rounds and won every one. A few days later I googled minecraft hunger games and this site popped up.
