1.9 SG vs 1.7/1.8 SG and making a full 1.9 SG separate to 1.7/1.8 SG

hello everybody!

So I don't really know what y'all are planning to do with SG but here's just a little idea that I think is alright.

So I have been thinking what if you make a full 1.9 SG, but wait before some people start complaing about 1.7 and 1.8, so we could then you separate 1.7/1.8 SG and keep it as it is with the leaderboards. Now we could make a whole separate icon when clicking compass in hub saying 1.9 SG and you could even make a leaderboards for 1.9 SG if you want but I think you shouldn't as it would be more fun if everyone was playing with shields flying around and stuff not tryharding the game as it's just for fun, like it should be. unless y'all want it to be like that and make a leaderboard for it.

There is no point, the devs have enough work to do at the moment, let alone making another whole SG game just for 1.9. It's not just like adding another game, but it's even more work, since any changes that go to the 1.7 / 1.8 servers need to be sent to the 1.9 servers, but that required extra changes to make it work especially for that.

Just remember how much work was put into making a 3 way protocol hack, just to allow 1.7, 1.8 & 1.9.

This would put to much pressure on the devs. In my opinion, the developers have a lot to deal with as is, so implementing a whole new sg, just isn't possible for the time being.

Moved to Survival Games Feature Suggestions

I think that it'd be a lot of work for devs, but if it was possible it'd be a nice feature for the players so everyone can play what they prefer. However I'm not entirely sure it is possible. Good suggestion though!

SoupSalad Creeper FusionDeck I believe it would ease most of the gameplay pressure with converting shields to swords etc, and move more work towards the setup and the proxies for the versions.
