1 big server with spilt

hey guys

just an idea to make things easier for logging in. how about make one server that automaticly splits players into all the other servers that are waiting to start. would make life easier for players and severs admins

It possible, but only with insanely complicated software and hardware on the servers. I don't think there's a simpler way to do this.

Nice idea, but thankfully that problem is mostly solved now with www.toomanyservers.com showing you which servers are best to join at any given time.

I like the idea if you can do what Dean said and join a specific server. If you always join a random server it would be too hard to play with friends and get to the right server. Maybe you could also toggle the range of the servers like you can on the server list.
