ive been looking into getting a gaming laptop for a while, and I finally got some money (birthday)
After Christmas, I plan to have close to 800 dollars tops, so I'm looking for a computer between $500-$700.
I would like to record minecraft, with teams peak open, on med settings, at 60 fps. I know this is possible, and don't try to convince away from a laptop, I travel between my mom and dads aloe. Thanks so much! :)

Dude, I would get a desktop... You can't really upgrade that much on a laptop when needed. (Just my opinion, I would love to have a gaming laptop as my 2nd computer)

I agree ^^ Desktops are a lot more customizable and easier to update your build. Unless you travel a lot and need a computer that is easy to transport, in that case I would get a laptop :)

I don't know much about laptops and what qualities to look for in a laptop, but I feel that you should be able to get a solid performance for Minecraft and other games out of a solid Razer laptop c;

Guys he asked for a laptop as he will be travelling between his parents houses using it, therefore talking about desktops doesn't answer the question. Is it possible for you to save up a little more for an Asus ROG laptop or an MSI laptop? There aren't too many laptops that can perform well in that price range.

Toshiba satalight s70 is not a gaming laptop, but it gets 270-340 fps, with TS open, and not recording, but on mid settings. I haven't tried recording on it yet. It £600 and its realllly good

that is out of his price range. That is almost $1000 USD.
