Old_Spice_ here from Team Xonia. I am happy and excited to present to you today our first map for MCSG, Deception Valley. I'll just dive right into it because I'm pretty sure you guys don't want to read an essay of text.

Story

The High Council controlled Deception Valley, a newly-discovered valley that was settled in the late 1800s. The High Council controlled the environment from their castle, and life was good.
Then came the plague.
The plague had a 100% mortality rate - Killing off all but 10 residents and the High Council, which was protected with doctors. The High Council became desperate and worked the 10 survivors almost to death. Eventually, the survivors rebelled - A mini-battle between the High Council and the survivors which left all dead.
Two days after the battle, a pair of blimps exploring the nearby mountain range found Deception Valley quieter than usual, and decided to explore, before one of the blimps crashed. The crash was documented and brought all the way to the Capitol. Fifteen days later, the pedestals were set up in the city square, where dances, parties, and laughter were once dwelling.
