Anyone noticed, that the amount of sticky'd things take up just about half the page? I think its gone a bit far, staff are sticky'ing everything nowadays. Within the last 2-3 days, I've seen about 5 threads get sticky'd which was far more then a couple months ago, we barely had ANY threads that were sticky'd!

This applies for General Support too, soon enough the entire page will be full of sticky's and players wont know where to go for support!

Instead of sticky'ing things, when a player needs it point them in that direction. For community corner, take down some of the less important things such as, this, once another batch of websites turn up re-sticky it but for the time being, there is just too much!

A couple threads that should be unstickied:
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/make-mcsg-better-not-worse-awareness.103357/ (even though it is important, not that important)
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/meet-the-staff-au.45261/
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/meet-the-staff-us.104055/
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/learning-about-and-dealing-with-ddos-attacks.102734 (move to community guides) (Dealt with!)
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.c...-guide-on-minecraft-hacks-explanation.108251/ (same as above)
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/warning-phishing-sites-ahead-heart-bleed-bug.96151/
(this is over, bug has been patched and is over a month old)(Dealt with!)
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/servers-dat-files-updated-12-23-13.46169/
(update it or it is just clutter)
http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/download-the-1-7-4-minecraft-launcher-here.46914/
(You can't get the old launcher anymore!)

Another thing: Moderators shouldn't have the power to sticky and guide things. I think only sr.staff members should be able to do this.

Staff are supposed to go through us to get stuff sticked, but they haven't been doing that lately. ಠ_ಠ

I'll talk with the other Sr. Staff about cleaning up the stickied pages.
Perhaps at the next mod meeting, bring up various threads that you think should be considered for un-stickying? :3

The purpose of stickied threads is to make it seen by more people correct? Yet, I believe it does quite the opposite, as forum browsers tend to automatically and subconsciously skip over the stickied section of the forum.

Good :p Someone was going sticky crazy!
Oops, I may have already unsticked a few of the threads and moved some to better topics... c:
Already looks less cluttered <3

what is a sticky thread? ;-;
A thread pinned to the top of a section so it is more accessable by everyone and can never leave the first page, like Community Guides and such. c:
