Teams are part of the game, you will have to deal with it.
But no, I havn't been chased by 7 people at the same time, only by 4 but I managed to kill them

I killed a 10-man team before in a 48-man server, they had no good gear nor weapon and I had an iron sword.

No, but I've been teamed on numerous occasions by two-men teams.

yeh my highest is a 10 man team and what made it worse was the fact that my friend who had a diamond sword had died from them and i had nothing but armor

I slayed a 6 man team who were guarding the corn before. They actually a few good weapons and armor but I lured them into the forest and killed them one by one. I won that game.

nice when there is a team at the corn, i just run past them and taunt them and stuff and get the to chase me, then try to pick them of one-by-one
