I know, I know. There are a lot of guides on Abuse Reports. Just hear me out, it will be very quick.

1. GATHER YOUR EVIDENCE
The first step is to gather your evidence. For hackers, this evidence must be in the form of video. The video is recommended to be longer than 15 seconds, and should clearly show the player hacking. Please do not stop to type a message every five seconds, stay close to the player and make sure it is easy to see! Also, when possible, fly instead of run. The view bobbing when sprint jumping makes it hard to focus on the player in question.
For spam, vulgar language, advertising, etc. you must provide screenshots. Please do not crop the screenshots to just the chat box, as we cannot accept that as evidence. It makes staff suspicious as it is possible you may be trying to hide something on your screen such as a hacked client.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO EDIT YOUR EVIDENCE! If video or images appear to be tampered with, you may receive a ban for falsifying evidence. This includes: slowing down/speeding up footage, cropping photos to hide previous comments, photoshopping, etc.

2. UPLOADING YOUR EVIDENCE
This is an important part of the process. We generally prefer YouTube for videos, and imgur.com for images. Make a free account, and upload your photos or videos there, and you can always upload there again. When you upload a YouTube video, we request that you make it unlisted, which basically means that you can only see it if you have been given the website address. This is to prevent people commenting on the video about the hacker, or to stop it from being too public.

3. WRITING THE ABUSE REPORT
This is where many people get confused. The format of the abuse report is:
In Game Name (of the accused player, not you)
Reason (what has the player done)
Proof (this is where your proof goes)
For example:
IGN: iHazTehHax <--- IGN of the hacker/spammer
Reason: Using force field, possibly player finder <--- Detailed but concise
Proof: www.youtube.com/video/SuchProofManyHacks/ <--- Link to video/image

Not like this:
IGN: sheldor_da_great <--- IGN of the report poster
Reason: Uses hax, cant play game soo raged <--- Bad grammar and unclear
Proof: I don't have, but he did it I swear! <--- No evidence

The title of the thread should be the IGN of the abuser and the reason.
Eg.
iHazTehHax - ForceField, Player Finder
NOT:
Hacker! -or- WOW! -or- Chater!

4. NOTES
You may decide you want to imbed the video and footage, but as a mod, I personally prefer having a link. This is because a link makes it much easier to share the evidence with other staff, especially when on a mobile device. Also, some mobile devices have problems displaying the imbedded evidence. It is not a crucial thing, and some people prefer imbedded evidence, but you can decide for yourself.
HAVING NO EVIDENCE WILL GET YOUR REPORT REJECTED
No matter how good the report, or how trustworthy the person posting it, evidence must always be provided to punish a person. If you do not provide evidence, your report will be closed and the user will not be punished, so make sure you post at least a 15 second clip, or just one or more photos for spammers, etc.
