It's been a while, but here's what you've all been waiting for - achievements!
Achievements will be available on all MCSG servers shortly as the update rolls out.
Note that the first time you log onto a server with this update, you may get spammed with "ACHIEVEMENT GET!" messages. This is normal, and is just our system catching up on your achievement history - it won't happen again.
We're releasing our achievement system with about 20 achievements to start, however be assured that there are many more to come; in fact, we have nearly 100 achievements planned for the long term. We will be rolling them out as time goes on, so you can expect to see more achievements within the coming few days.
Here are the currently implemented achievements:
A Tribute's Welcome - Play your very first MCSG game. (5 points)
Last Man Standing - Win your very first MCSG round. (10 points)
Used to Winning - Win 10 rounds of MCSG. (25 points)
Trouble with a Tribute - Win 100 rounds of MCSG. (50 points)
Unstoppable - Win 1,000 rounds of MCSG. (100 points)
Bad Karma - Earn 250 bounty. (5 points)
Bounty Man - Earn 500 bounty. (10 points)
The Wanted - Earn 1,000 bounty. (25 points)
FBI's Most Wanted - Earn 10,000 bounty. (50 points)
Chunk Change - Kill a player and earn 10 points. (5 points)
Loot - Kill a player and earn 50 points. (10 points)
Treasure - Kill a player and earn 100 points. (25 points)
Lottery - Kill a player and earn 250 points. (50 points)
Jackpot - Kill a player and earn 500 points. (100 points)
Iron Man - Become an iron sponsor. (No Point Reward)
Gold Member - Become a gold sponsor. (No Point Reward)
Diamonds to You - Become a diamond sponsor. (No Point Reward)
Mr. Popular - Become a MCSG VIP. (No Point Reward)
Blood Donor - Become a MCSG Staff Member. (No Point Reward)
Killing Spree - Kill 3 tributes in one game. (5 points)
Killing Frenzy - Kill 6 tributes in one game. (10 points)
Running Riot - Kill 9 tributes in one game. (25 points)
Rampage - Kill 12 tributes in one game. (50 points)
Untouchable - Kill 18 tributes in one game. (75 points)
Double Rainbow - Kill 2 MCSG developers in one game. (5 points)
Owner Owned - Kill ChadTheDJ. (5 points)
Planet Minecraft - Claim to be a reviewer from Planet Minecraft. (5 points)
District 12 - Represent District 12 in a round. (5 points)
Rage Quit - Quit a server within 5 seconds of your death. (5 points)
Chicken - Quit a server during pregame. (5 points)
It's Over Nine Thousand - Play on US9001. (5 points)
Work in Progress - Spot a MCSG developer on a server. (5 points)
Meet the Maker - Spot the owner of MCSG on a server. (5 points)
